I was first introduced to this phenomenal company Monavie in 2006. At this time my then 3 year old son was suffering from a skin condition referred to as eczema. Each night my son would retire to bed only to suffer through the night. Due to the irritation caused by the eczema my son would scratch his skin to the point that he was bleeding from head to toe. His sleep was disturbed not allowing him the rest his little body needed to heal itself.
On many occasions I had taken my son to the Doctor and over and over we tried all kinds of creams, medicines, and steroids in an attempt to cure the problem. Over and over again nothing worked to help my son. Our family friend at this time was he himself introduced to Monavie and based on what he had experienced and heard about the product came to our family in the hopes that maybe this would offer our son to relief from the eczema.
Due to all the remedies that we had tried on my son I thought there was no way that some juice with a berry that I couldn't even pronounce was going to help. I am a very skeptical person and really wanted nothing to do with this company let alone any juice. However because it was for my son I was willing to allow him to take the juice and see what it could do for him.
So for three weeks my son would take 2 ounces of juice when he woke up and 2 more ounces before he retired to bed. It was after this 3 weeks that we began to notice a significant difference in my son's appearance. Within this 3 weeks my son's eczema cleared up to only 2 small spots behind his knees and he was also sleeping through the night. The bags under my son's eyes had gone away and his energy level had risen tremendously. We once again had our happy little boy back!!!
Being the skeptical person that I was, I could not put full faith into this juice. At the same time as my son's ordeal with eczema I was attending an intensive 6 month long law enforcement academy. I want to put it out there right up front that I am not a runner in any means of the word or at least when I first started the academy I was not but am happy to report they turned me into one.
On a constant basis we were required to participate in many intense physical fitness sessions. This was killing me each and every time. When I would participate in these sessions it would take me an hour or so to recover and be able to function in a way considered normal. Also I was unable to get a good nights sleep due to the fact I was in pain. Based on the results that I witnessed in my son I decided to start to take the juice myself.
My realization that there was something to this juice came about a month after I began taking 4 ounces a day. Our academy class had participated in a 6 mile run as part of our physical fitness day. When I returned from the run and sat down in the class room I fully expected to be in pain, unable to concentrate on the lesson at hand however much to my surprise I was alert and able to recover quite quickly.
